Sam Walter Procter age 83 of Elizabethton, TN formerly of Jefferson, NC died Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at the LifeCare Center of Elizabethton, TN. Mr. Procter was born April 30, 1919 in Ashe County, NC to Charlie Walter and Bessie Dixon Procter. His wife Virginia Mullis Procter preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Joe Blevins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Procter Cemetery. Mr. Procter will lie in state on Saturday, November 30, 2002 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.
