Scott Wesley Weaver, of Charlotte, formerly of Warrensville, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 56 years old. Scott was born on September 4, 1967, in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Clayton "Jack" and Clarice Wiles Weaver. Scott's journey was marked by a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life, a passion for music, and a warm-hearted spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him.

Scott's love for music knew no bounds; he especially enjoyed the harmonies of bluegrass, the twang of country tunes, and the timeless melodies of Credence Clearwater Revival. His soul resonated with the rhythm of life through the notes of his favorite songs.

During his school years, Scott was a vibrant participant in the Special Olympics, showcasing not only his dedication but also his indomitable spirit in the face of challenges. His enthusiasm and determination served as an inspiration to many, leaving an enduring legacy of perseverance.

Scott completed twelve years of education in North Carolina Public Schools.  He then found a second family at ADAP, where his infectious smile and camaraderie endeared him to colleagues. The bonds that he made in the workplace were a testament to his genuine and affable nature, leaving an imprint on the hearts of his co-workers.

In the realm of entertainment, Scott's laughter echoed through the timeless classics of "I Love Lucy," the down-home humor of "HEE HAW," and the endearing adventures of "The Little Rascals." These shows were not just a source of entertainment for Scott but a reflection of the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life.

Scott's favorite pastime was sharing meals with his beloved family, where laughter and love flowed freely around the table. His eyes lit up with delight at the prospect of enjoying his favorite dish – spaghetti, a comfort food that held a special place in his heart. As a sweet tooth enthusiast, Scott's go-to dessert was a delightful combination of M&M's and ice cream, a treat that never failed to bring a smile to his face.

Scott is survived by two sisters, Sharon Weaver (Rick Smith) of Lewisburg, PA, Nina Wynn (Richard Wynn) and their children, Katie and John Wynn of Charlotte, NC, one brother, Mitchell Weaver (Hope Weaver) and their children, Autumn and Sierra Weaver of Simpsonville, SC.
