Shae Lynn Greer

Shae Lynn Greer, age 40 of West Jefferson born July 13, 1981 in Elkton, MD passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Shae always went around with a huge smile on her face. She touched the hearts of many, she loved to talk and socialize with others. Shae enjoyed talking about her family and she was a very proud aunt. She also loved to take care of her dogs Precious and Little Bit. Shae was an avid movie collector with a collection of over three hundred movies. Shae loved to listen to country music and sing in church.

Shae is survived by her mother, Valrie Greer of the home, father David Schirling Jr. of Elkton, MD, stepmother Kathleen Calvert of Denton, MD, grandmother, Frances Foor of Clearville, PA, brothers, Dustin Greer and wife Tonya of Lansing, NC and Dave Schirling and wife Crystal of Jacksonville, NC, sister, Brittany Schirling of Kansas City, MO, four nephews, Coltin Greer, Logan Greer, Logan Schirling and Jeremy Carson and four nieces, Aria Greer, Sofia Schirling, Leanna Schirling  and Aubree Schirling.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jim Francis and Rev. Tim Roten.  Burial will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24th from 5:00-7:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home.
