Shane Duncan

Shane Duncan, age 49 of Lansing, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his home. Mr. Duncan was born on December 24, 1970 in Lancaster, PA to John Robert Duncan and Bertha “Bert” Blevins.  Shane was preceded in death by his father.

Shane was a man that knew many and befriended most. He worked hard but played harder. You could hear his contagious laugh through a crowded room and be comforted by his bright smile. He spent his weekends taking care of his farm, riding his Harley with friends, and cooking for everyone around. Shane was many things… A good friend, a brother, son, father, a hard worker, (as his mom would say) a hellion, a jokester, and one of the best people to be around. To all that have met him, loved him, laughed with him, and hugged him. Be thankful, for we were lucky to be loved and friended by a man like Shane.

Mr. Duncan is survived by: one daughter, Brittany Duncan of Lansing, two sons, John Duncan and Matt Duncan both of West Jefferson, his mother and step-father, Bert and Larry Blevins of Lansing, two brothers, Mark Duncan and wife, Vicki of Galax, VA and Jared Duncan of Wilkesboro, step-sister, Lisa Brulport and step-brother, Jamie Blevins both of Columbia, South Carolina, one grandchild, Hayden Duncan and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 1:00pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Wade Huntsinger.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
