Shirley Ann Miller

Shirley Ann Miller, age 78 of West Jefferson, the Glendale Springs community, died Friday, December 13, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Miller was born February 27, 1941 in Ashe County to the late Wesley and Ola Severt Miller.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rudd Miller, brothers, Jake and Bobby Miller and sister, Judy Miller.  Shirley was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed attending when her health allowed.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends that knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 16, 2019 at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Sonny Thomas, Rev. Mark Harless and Rev. Russell Sheets.  Burial will follow in the Claude Mash Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, Dec. 15th at Badger Funeral Home.

Mrs. Miller is survived by, son, Phil Miller and wife Cheryl of West Jefferson, daughter, Darlene Miller of West Jefferson, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be meeting at the home of Darlene Miller.
