Sibbie Marsh

Sibbie Evelyn Walters Marsh, age 99 of Jefferson died Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at the Ashe Living Center. Mrs. Marsh was born April 21, 1904 in Ashe County to the late Joel and Hettie Walters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Marsh. She was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 12th at Friendship Baptist Church. Rev. David Grinnell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 till 11:00 AM prior to the service Friday. Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

Son: Robert Marsh and wife Betty Jo of Harrisburg, NC

Daughter: Rita Huff of Jefferson, NC

Brothers: Bower and Bill Walters both of Jefferson, NC

Sisters: Maude Greer and Selma "Polly" Walters both of Jefferson, NC

2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews
