Stanley Young

Mr. Stanley Young age 81 of Grassy Creek, NC died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at his home. Mr. Young was born on April 20, 1921 in Grassy Creek, NC to Irvin R. and Alice Waddell Young. He served in the US Army in WWII and was an active member of the Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Grassy Creek. He was a member of the Mouth of Wilson Masonic Lodge 223 A.F.A.M.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 14, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church. Rev. Rick Miller and Rev. Jack Pugh will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Home Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 13, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.

Rachael Burgess of West Jefferson, NC

Sister: Pauline Walters of Grassy Creek, NC
