Stella Sluder

Stella Mae Osborne Sluder age 105 of Creston, NC died Friday, November 21, 2003 at the Watauga Medical Center. Mrs. Sluder was born on June 19, 1898 in Creston, NC to Alvin and Elizabeth Mahala Osborne. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Sluder, and son Fred Sluder.
Mrs. Sluder was a lifelong member of the Peak Valley Baptist Church; she loved her faith, her family, friends and had a genuine love for life. She was a true blessing to her family and all that knew her.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 23, 2003 at 8:00 P.M. at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. Steve Witherspoon and Rev. Chris Shelton will officiate. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 24, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 23, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Peak Valley Baptist Church, 4022 Peak Road, Creston, NC 28615.

Walter Clyde Sluder of Delaware

Daughters: Thelma Shepherd of Creston, NC
Helen Trivette of Mtn. City, TN

14 Grandchildren 18 Great Grandchildren 5 Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
