Susan E. (Flick) Morgan

Susan E. Morgan, better known as "Susie", age 73 of Grassy Creek passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Morgan was born on April 22, 1948 in Orchard Park, New York to the late George and Esther Emboden Flick.

Mrs. Morgan loved cooking and camping. She was a member of Grassy Creek Methodist Church.

She is survived by:  her husband, Bob Morgan; one daughter, Michelle Cannon of Hamburg, New York; one brother, Donald Flick of St. Petersburg, Florida; two grandchildren, James Cannon of Hamburg, New York and Johnny Scoble of Surry County; special friend, Carol Ellis of Crumpler; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Harold Parks. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, August , 2021 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

The family respectfully requests no food please. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
