Mr. Swansie E. Shepherd age 90 of Lansing, NC died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mr. Shepherd was born on October 16, 1912 in Ashe County, NC to Gardener and Etta Baugess Shepherd. He was preceded in death by four brothers.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rodney Frye and Rev. Larry Shepherd will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 25, 2003 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Warrensville United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, c/o Steve Davis, 1874 Island Ford Rd., Crumpler, NC 28617.

Brother: Dale Shepherd of West Jefferson, NC
Sister: Pauline Jones of Stokesdale, NC
1 Niece 6 Nephews and several Great Nieces and Nephews.
