Sybil Marie Wilson Baker

Mrs. Sybil Marie Wilson Baker, age 86 of Todd died on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Margate Health and Rehab Center in Jefferson. Mrs. Baker was born on March 13, 1930 in San Francisco, CA to Herbert and Tereasa Kinely Wilson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Baker, a son, David Baker, and a grandson, Heath Andrew Phillips. Mrs. Baker was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Father James Stuhrenberg. Burial will follow in Healing Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Baker is survived by: Son, Michael Baker of Arizona, Son, Edward (Lisa) Baker of Sparta, Daughter, Cheryl Baker-Roark (Letcher Maye) of Crumpler, Daughter, Karen (Donald) Bledsoe of Todd, Daughter, Barbara (Jimmy) Phillips of West Jefferson, Daughter, Linda (Tony) Paisley of Grassy Creek; also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
