Terry Allen Severt

Terry Allen Severt age 45 of Lillington, formerly of Ashe County, died on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Mr. Severt was born in Ashe County to Paul Ernest and Annie Cox Severt. He was preceded in death by, his grandparents and his father. Terry played sports in high school, and remained an avid sports fan. He loved spending time outdoors and traveling, hunting in Montana, working in the Christmas Tree, Golfing,  and going to the Rodeo in the Western US. Mr. Severt was a member of Round Knob Baptist Church. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jack Pugh and Rev. John Elledge. Burial will follow in Cox Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service.

Mr. Severt is survived by: his mother, Annie Cox Severt of West Jefferson, one brother, Steven Severt of West Jefferson; also surviving is one niece, Jacqueline Severt, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
