Thelma Lee (Faw) Testerman

Thelma Lee Faw Testerman age 83 of West Jefferson died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Margate Health and Rehab Center.  Mrs. Testerman was born December 19, 1934 in Ashe County to the late Glen and Dale Riffle Faw.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Jessie Caudill and her brother, Willard Faw.

She was a loving mother and a lifelong member of Glendale Springs Presbyterian Church.  Her hobbies included growing flowers, knitting, crocheting, making baby blankets and square dancing.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 5:00pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Sidney Crunk and Rev. Russell Sheets.  The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 pm Sunday prior to the service.  Graveside servies will be held on Monday, January 8th at 1:00 pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery.

Ms. Testerman is survived by: her son, James Testerman and Betty Sheets of West Jefferson, sister, Mary Lou Hayes of Wilkesboro, several nieces and nephews also survive.
