Thomas Alfred Lambert

Thomas Alfred Lambert, age 74 of Crumpler, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Margate Health and Rehab. Mr. Lambert was born on May 22, 1947 in Ashe County to Charlie and Lorene Blevins Lambert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Faye "Betty" Miller Lambert, his father and a brother, Hurshel Lambert.

Mr. Lambert graduated from Beaver Creek High School in 1965. He married Betty Miller, the daughter of Monroe and Hazel Miller of Jefferson. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. After serving in the military, he and his family moved to Florida where he lived for 30 years. Afterwards, he returned home to Ashe County. He was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church.

Mr. Lambert is survived by:  o ne daughter, Cherie Baldwin (Rocky) of West Jefferson; h is mother, Lorene Lambert of Crumpler; o ne brother, Mike Lambert (Rita) of Fleetwood; t wo sisters, Nancy Roten (Jerry) of Clemmons and Grace Brown (Johnny) of Crumpler; a lso surviving are one granddaughter, Amelia McNeill (Kendall), and several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with military rites.
