Thomas Constant Woodie

Thomas Constant Woodie age 84 of Laurel Springs passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mr. Woodie was born on November 17, 1938 to the late Colonel Ephrian and Effie Tilly Woodie.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Russell Woodie.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in the Sparta Cemetery with military rites.

Mr. Woodie is survived by: his wife, Mary Lou Ruester Woodie, one son, Tom Woodie of Georgia, one sister, Delores Anders of Sparta, three grandchildren, Caitlin, Robert and Ashton Woodie and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
