Tony Goss

Tony Goss, age 67 of Jefferson, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Goss was born on December 28, 1954 in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Worth and Claudia Sawyer Goss.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Ivory Goss and one sister, Carolyn Howell.

Tony was a truck driver, he enjoyed reading books, telling tall tales and watching John Wayne movies.  He was of the Baptist Faith and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Goss is survived by his wife, Marie Goss, one son, Ivory Goss of Jefferson, two daughters, Carol Denny and Wendy Goss both of Jefferson, one brother, Robert Goss and wife, Wilma of West Jefferson, one sister, Hazel Keys of Jefferson, one grandson, Nathaniel Denny of Jefferson and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-4:00pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the home; 126 Knollview Drive in Jefferson.
