. Mr. Travis Wayne Miller age 33, of Crumpler, NC died on Friday, June 4, 2010. Mr. Miller was born on July 19, 1976 in Ashe, NC to Bobby Joe Miller and Edith Blevins Osborne. Travis attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. He worked as cemetery supervisor for Ashelawn Memorial Chapel and Gardens for 11 years. Travis had a very giving heart and would help anyone in any way he could. He loved to spend time with his family and especially his son Christopher. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and a friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Tommy Dollar, Rev. Thomas Russell, Rev. Jim Greer, and Rev. Lloyd Day. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, June 7, 2010 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.   Mr. Miller is survived by: Wife, Melissa Lynn Davis Miller, Son - Christopher Wayne Miller of the home, father and step mother, Bobby Joe and Nora Miller, mother and step-father, Edith and Bobby Osborne, twin sister - Shannon and husband Michael Barr of Creston,  two step brothers - David and wife Nicole Gore of Lansing, Eric Osborne and wife Melissa of Jefferson, three step sisters - Amanda and husband Robert Dunning of Lansing, Leann Laffoon and husband Chris of Durham, Ashley Osborne of Henderson,  maternal grandmother - Christina Blevins of West Jefferson, mother in-law - Victoria Eads of West Jefferson, father in-law - Jerry Davis of Jefferson, brother in-law - Jimmy Davis of West Jefferson, sister in-law - Sherry Davis of West Jefferson, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.  Flowers will be appreciated, or memorials may be made to a fund for his son, Christopher Miller, c/o 5/3 Bank in West Jefferson.   You may send and view condolences to the family through our website www.ashelawn.com.   Ashelawn Memorial Chapel & Gardens was entrusted with Mr. Miller's arrangements.
