Vance "Bud" Irvin Poe

Vance Irvin Poe, better known as Bud, age 75 of Whitetop, VA died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at his home. Mr. Poe was born May 20, 1942 in Rural Retreat, Virginia to the late Vance W. Poe and Larna “Doshia” Blevins Poe.  In addition to his father and mother, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Orville “Bill” Poe.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 16, 2017 in the Walls Cemetery by Rev. Dennis Poe.

Mr. Poe is survived by, His wife, Ethel W. Poe, one son, Greg Poe and wife Debbie of Whitetop, three daughters, Shelia Holloway and husband Michael of Wilkesboro, Karen Blevins of Mouth of Wilson and Michelle Poe of Jefferson, two sisters, Wilma Frazier of Alabama & Betty Williams of Mouth of Wilson, one brother, Roger Poe of Lansing, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
