Virginia Andrea Joiner Miller age 78 of Fleetwood, NC died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at her residence.
Mrs. Miller was born on July 8, 1925 in Salem, VA to Letcher Lincoln and Myrtle Hash Joiner. Her sisters and brother, Mildred J. Jarvis, Louise J. Smith, and Herbert Letcher Joiner preceded her in death. Ginny was educated in the Salem School System and graduated from Carver High School. On March 23, 1951 she married John C. Miller of Fleetwood, NC and then made Fleetwood, NC her home.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. Theodore Brandon and Rev. Roger Newton will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, 2003 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Ashe, PO Box 421, Jefferson, NC 28640 or Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 589 Liberty Grove Church Road, Fleetwood, NC 28626.
