Virginia (Mahaffey) Miller

Virginia Mahaffey Miller, age 71 of Lansing, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Atrium Health University City in Charlotte. Mrs. Miller was born in Ashe County on May 22, 1951 to the late Worth and Mary Belle Blevins Mahaffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Allen Miller, brothers, Ricky Mahaffey and Rev. Terry Mahaffey. Virginia enjoyed reading and working in her garden.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Wayne Jones and Rev. Steve Witherspoon. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Miller is survived by: her daughter, Evelyn Marie Miller of Lansing, one sister, June Bowers of Crumpler, one brother, Jerry Mahaffey of Hayes; several nieces and nephews also survive.
