Vonda Leith (Finch) Cross

Vonda Leith Finch Cross, age 81 of Claremont, formerly of Ashe, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her home.  Vonda was born December 26, 1938 in Raleigh, NC to the late William and Mary Dodd Finch.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ben Cross and sons, James Sanderford, Phillip Sanderford and Ralph Dement.  She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.  She will be in our hearts always.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dr. Jim Rash.  Burial will follow in the Goodman Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 prior to the service.

Mrs. Cross is survived by, her fiance, Rick McManus, son, Glenn Sanderford, daughter, Cecile Ann Tant, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
