Wanda Sue (Miller) Bare

Wanda Sue Miller Bare, age 83 of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  Mrs. Bare was born January 31, 1935 in Ashe County to the late Presley and Bessie Witherspoon Miller.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Richard Bare, daughter, Gaynelle Starlene Lewis and sister, Virginia Jones.

Wanda dedicated her whole life to taking care of her family and her three dogs, Wylie, Hemi and Pixi.  She was a hard worker and loved gardening and cooking.

Mrs. Bare is survived by, daughter, Donna Bare of Winston-Salem, sons, Jim Bare (Lila) of Jefferson and Donald Bare of Millers Creek, grandchildren, Danny Sturgill Jr, Casey Kaye Bare, Eric James Bare and Gavin Edward Bare, great-granddaughter, Tempie Sue Sturgill and nieces, Joy Jones Lewis and Nena Jones Allen.

Memorial services will be private.

Memorials may be made to a hospice agency of the donor’s choice.
