Wayne Greer, age 80 of Lansing, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at his home.
Mr. Greer was born on July 12, 1923 in Ashe County, son of the late Arthur and Sally Coldiron Greer.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church in Lansing. Rev. Tom Stuart and Rev. Larry Shepherd will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Lansing. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

His wife, Rose Ann Absher Greer of Lansing
Sons: Ricky Greer of Warrensville, Gregory Peter Greer, Roger Greer, Jimmy Greer,Russell Greer and Sam Greer all of Lansing
Daughters: Ellen Woodie and Debbie Roten both of Lansing
Brothers: Freeman Greer of Creston, Garfield Greer of Mtn. City, TN and Ford Greer of Pennsylvania.
10 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Ashelawn Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
