Wendell Franklin Wilcox

Wendell Franklin Wilcox age 81 of Todd passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Margate Health and Rehab Center.  Mr. Wilcox was born November 4, 1940 in Ashe County to the late Martin and Ollie Wilcox.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Rominger Wilcox, brothers, Stuart and Robert Wilcox and sisters, Ora Lee Howell and Flora Gilley.  Mr. Wilcox was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church.  He loved his family and his church very much.  Wendell enjoyed bowling in the bowling leagues.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Johnny Goodman.  Burial will follow in the Bethany Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service.

Mr. Wilcox is survived by, daughters, Geraldine Wood and husband Carson of Todd and Jenny Miller and husband Lonnie of Fleetwood, sons, Tim Wilcox and wife Tasha of Kingsport, TN, Ted Wilcox and wife Linda of Boone and Matt Wilcox and wife Lisa of Hudson and brother, Kyle Wilcox of TX. 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
