Wilma Rose

Wilma Lee Rose age 83 of Elkridge, MD formerly of Ashe County, NC died Tuesday, July 23, 2002 in Maryland. Mrs. Rose was born on March 9, 1919 in Ashe County, NC to John Morgan and Fannie Perry Baker. Her husband James L. Rose, daughter Irene Brooks, brothers Harold, J.C., and Dean Baker, preceded her in death.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 29, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at the Healing Springs Baptist Church. Rev. David Jones will officiate. Mrs. Rose will lie in state from 9:00 till 10:00 A.M. on July 29, 2002 at the Healing Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Healing Springs Baptist Church.

Son: James G. Rose of Little River, SC

Daughter: Sandra Justice of Elkridge, MD

Sisters: Pearl Severt of West Jefferson, NC: Pauline Miller of California
Louise Drachenberg of Texas: Bradley Baker of Little River, SC
Mae Tucker of Kannapolis, NC: Shirley Phipps of Westminister, MD

Grandchildren: Deborah Justice, Mary Rose, Lisa Reid, Christopher and Jimmy Rose, Christina, Charles Lee, and Theresa Bowman.

Also surviving are eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
