Woodrow Harold Pollard

Woodrow Harold Pollard, age 85 of Crumpler died on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Margate Health and Rehab.  Mr. Pollard was born on July 1, 1936 in Alleghany County, North Carolina to the late James William Richard and Dorothy Huffman Pollard.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters. He was a member of New River Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Pollard established Pollard Glass in West Jefferson. He was a devoted husband, proud and loving father and grandfather.

Mr. Pollard is survived by: H is wife, Vada Gearleen Brown Pollard, two sons, Duane Pollard (Donna) of Crumpler and John Pollard of Wilmington, one daughter, Vada Long (Jerry) of Greensboro, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers and food, memorials may be made to, The Gideons International or to The Missions Program c/o New River Missionary Baptist Church, 9721 NC Hwy 113, PineyCreek NC 28663.
