Yvette (Mikeal) Jones

Yvette Jones age 61 of Lansing passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Yvette was born January 2, 1961 in Ashe County to the late Coy and Alice Powers Mikeal.  She was a member of Baptist Chapel Church.  She owned and operated her own hair salon, Kut Ups Hair Boutique for around 20 years.  Yvette loved spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family.  She was a people person and was always willing to help others.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Friday, September, 23, 2022 at Badger Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones is survived by: her husband, Galen Jones, one daughter, Katy Jones of Lansing, one son, Kaleb Jones of Greensboro, one brother, David Mikeal and wife Wilma of Lansing, two sisters, Kitty Greer and husband Harold of Lansing, and Jill Borders and husband Ross of Mt. Airy, two grandchildren, Aubree and Avery Elliott and several nieces and nephews also survive.
