Zell Sandra (Osborne) Vanover Lewis

Zell Sandra Osborne Vanover Lewis age 72 of Creston died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Watauga Medical Center. She was born in Ashe County on January 14, 1946 to Henry and Minnie Mahala Osborne. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, one sister, Mae Belle Price, and two brothers, Tracy Osborne and Eula Osborne. Zell loved God and her family dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her son. She will be missed but her memory lives on.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by: two daughters, Kimberly Vanover of Millers Creek and Robbin Ferguson of Butler, TN, one son, Kenny Vanover of Creston, one sister, Ola Roark of Creston, two brothers, Sheridan Osborne and Odell Osborne both of Pennsylvania, one granddaughter, Holly Ferguson of Butler, TN, special friend, Rose Price of Creston and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to send their appreciation to the nurses at Watauga Medical Center and her caregivers, Linda Ward and Melanie Byrd Edmisten Hollar for their love and care they gave Mrs. Lewis.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Brother Junior Seatz and Brother Rector Henson. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Ashelawn.
