Ethan Seth Shrader

Ethan Seth Shrader age 21 of West Jefferson passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021. He was born in Watauga County, NC on Sunday, October 17, 1999. Ethan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Shrader and Thomas Graybeal. In his spare time he could be found working on cars, spending time with his dogs, off roading in Jeeps, dirt bikes and spending time with his friends. Ethan liked to eat and was known to look up recipes and send them to his mom for her to cook.

Ethan is survived by: his mother, Gloria Jean Graybeal of West Jefferson, father, Gary Ray Shrader of Todd, his maternal grandmother, Jean Graybeal of Warrensville, paternal grandmother, Mildred Shrader of Todd, half sister, Kayla Shrader, aunts, Sherree Graybeal and Brenda Shrader, uncle, Thomas Graybeal, II; also surviving are cousins, Robin Wilson, Amber Wilson, Charlee Graybeal, Tommy Graybeal and Sophi Graybeal.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.

Mr. Shrader will lie in state on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
