Patricia Ann (Blankenship) Key

Patricia Ann Blankenship Key, better known as Pat, age 67 of Creston, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Key was born on December 23, 1954 in Richlands, Virginia to Arvil and Oakley Shortridge Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas James "Jack" Key.

Mrs. Key is survived by:  t hree daughters, Jackie Key (fiance Jeremy Snyder) of the home, Jennifer Walton of West Jefferson, and Cindy Roten of the home; f our sisters, Brenda Guzman of Delaware, Peggy Phillips, Linda Moody, and Betty Blankenship, all of Pennsylvania; o ne brother, Arvil Buddy Blankenship of Maryland; s pecial friends, Dewey Key, Lisa Eastridge, Jimmy Phillips, Pelo Cornejo and son Miguel; t hree grandchildren, Alex Bare, Alaska Royal, and Sierra Walton; two great-grandchildren, Marcus Bare and Kiaro Allen King Grahm; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Big Laurel Church of Christ in Christian Union. Burial will follow in the Key-Graybeal Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
